She is growing and learning soooo fast! I am so amazed how many new things she is doing.
Here's what she's up to these days:
- Rotates 90 degrees (see picture above)
- Scoots backwards by pushing with her feet
- Smiles lots when played with
- Can hold toys, washcloths, and anything she can get her hands around
- Brings toys, hands, etc. to her mouth to taste them
- Prefers sleeping on her left side
- Makes lots of sounds other than crying
- Makes happy, sad, and tired cooing sounds
- Laughs occasionally
- Can hold her head up at 45 degrees when on her tummy
- Is working on holding her head up 90 degrees
- Cuddles up to mom and dad when held
- Loves being supported in a standing position
- Loves being supported in a position that she can takes steps. She needs a pedometer already.
- Loves chewing on her fingers & hands
- Loves chewing on toys, blankets, etc.
- On her 3 month birthday we were visiting someone and Celeste was sitting in her car seat next to me, un-buckled. She wiggled out of her car seat all by herself.
- Celeste gets especially excited when we do the following:
- Smile & Laugh
- Make funny faces
- Stick out our tongues
- Talk with any kind of accent
- Trill our "R"s
- Move her arms & sing popcorn popping
