our fossils.  A lot of it was led by Celeste.  

If there are rocks or a steep hill to climb, she races up it.

Preschool Princess and Zoo Trip

Today was dress up like a king or queen day at Celeste's preschool.  The kids learned the letters K and Q.  They made crowns and all looked so cute.  Celeste recently had to bring a show-and-tell item that started with K and tell about it.  She brought her Ken doll because she kept calling her stuffed animal kitty a cat.  Too confusing.  She loves going to preschool.  Her class is having a valentine day party, and parent teacher conferences in a few weeks.  Wow, I can't believe she's old enough for that.  Celeste is the cutest princess in the land.

We dropped Scott's parents off at the airport and went to the zoo.  Many animals were out that we didn't expect.  The only animals we didn't go see were the gorillas and the bats.  We saw everything else.

Kids love making this giant granite globe spin on its fountain.

The desert animal exhibit also has a cultural exhibit.
