It's a Girl!

Celeste Marie was born at 7:20 am, Oct. 31, 2008 via C-section.
She weighed 9 lbs, 2 oz and is 21 inches long.
She is doing great, but will be in the hospital for 2-3 + more days and is being watched for infection.
Lana has a high temperature and is being watched closely.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Visiting Family & Friends

We had a great visit with family Utah. We got to meet Jackson Joel (3 week old). Scott went fishing w/ his dad & brother Mark. We had dinner with Mom, Dad, Mark, & Glen.

The Hollidays are dear friends of Bethany's family. Dr.Holliday taught bethany high school english.

Baby Prep II

We graduated from baby training at the hospital. I would highly recommend taking a class from the hospital before you have a baby. It definitely reduces the unknown.

It is amazing the generousity of people when they find out you are going to be parents. We've been given a whole wardrobe as well as some really beautiful blankets, formula, etc.

Baby Prep

FRIENDS
Our good friends, the Wood family, threw us a surprise baby shower. One day they just came over and gave us a ton of gifts including cute outfits, embroidered burp cloths, baby bath thermometer, disney video, diapers and more. They also gave us a crib, high chair, bouncy chair, etc. this summer. What amazing friends we have.

EDUCATION
Tonight we attended the infant care class at the hospital. We feel much more confident! This week's class included feeding babies and a tour of the hospital. Next week is CPR and other baby care. We knew 2 of the couples attending the class.

NEEDS
Some of our friends and family members are asking what we still need. We have a lot of items, but here are the needs. I'll try to keep the list updated.
