Recycled Fun

Does this pinata look familiar? We used it earlier this month and again at play group. Celeste showed the other kids how to do it. Eventually an adult had to get it open.

Answer: Teletubby toast is what Celeste requested for breakfast this morning. The Teletubbies are always eating this kind of toast, and it's her new favorite show. Last week it was the non-scary parts of Little Mermaid. She likes singing the songs. The week before that her favorite was Cars.

At night when I lock up the pool our sidewalk is covered with these snails. I count myself lucky to not have stepped on one yet because they are hard to see. I move them if they are too directly in the path. I don't like seeing casualties in the morning.

Everyday Celeste likes to go out on the balcony and "fix" her bike. She "rode" it to the park (me pushing it) the other day. On the way back I got a workout because I was carrying both her and the bike.

Happy Independence Day!

This night owl stayed up to watch fireworks and dance with sparklers. We didn't feel the 3.2 earthquake that happened in Santaquin at 9:30 pm.

We had a wonderful time with my side of the family on Saturday. Celeste enjoyed her cousins and Autumn's backyard. The BBQ was sooo yummy!

Fish in the Water

Katrina, Jackson, and Annie took us to a cool new park near their house. We played in the fun little pond between thunder showers. It was a perfect way to cool off. We saw a seagull catch a fish out of the pond. Celeste said, "Hi Scuttle!" to the seagulls because she just watched little mermaid for the first time recently. Annie slept through it all.
