Happy Birthday Fairy Princess

New book

Two fairies.  We would have had 3, but I ran out of time to get ready.

Scott got to extract some of the toys that were well connected to their packaging.

Dave and Diane (Aunt and Uncle Cheese) just made it back from Sedona in time for the party.  They live in the same condo complex as my mom and Celeste likes to walk over to their house for cheese sticks.

New book called "Pinkalicious".  She also got the pinkalicious doll.

Getting a little tired.

She fell asleep in my arms before the party was over.  Then she took a 3 hour nap.  What an exhausting day for her.

When she woke up we went to Boo-at-the-Zoo.

The animals were very confused.

We looked at animals and went from booth to booth getting candy.

The weather was perfect.  No wind, and warmer than usual.

This is about where we lost her hat.  Last year we lost her gloves at boo-at-the-zoo.

Note:  On Friday Scott and I ran a booth at our church's Halloween carnival.  We did pin-the-face on the jack-o-lantern.  We were pirates and had our room decorated like an ocean with a treasure map on the wall.  Celeste loved watching all of the dressed up kids and getting candy.

Jackson & Katrina Visit

We had a wonderful visit with Jackson, Katrina, and Mandy this week.  Celeste and Jackson are now best buds.  After he went home she said, “Jackson back” many times.  She also called Katrina, Amy the whole time.  We all look alike.  The big highlights were Mandy’s b-day party, bowling, and trick-or-treat at the library.  It was so cute trying to get the toddlers to A.) See that a person was standing there with candy, B.) Say trick-or-treat, C.) Hold out their bags, and D.) Say thank you.  Then repeat.

Talking at Two AND Swimming!

Ok, she's not two yet, but Celeste was reading library books this morning with Scott and Clifford and she said a lot.

Oct.25 - Last night Celeste swam without being held for the first time.  Go little fishy!  Thanks for the video, grammy.  Okay, a caveat is needed.  She is wearing a floatation device, her floaty swimming suit.  But she can go in circles and go forward by kicking her feet.

Hiking before the weather gets too bad

We hiked down to the Snake River from Pine Creek Bench.  It was pretty, and chilly, and a good excuse to get out of the house.  This is actually the start of a longer trail that I want to do some day.  I'm worried about bears, so it didn't happen this summer.

Celeste likes to squeeze our noses while making a honking sound.

We stopped at the overlook to see the colors and watch boats on the river.

I got her to smile by making animal noises.  This is the trail down to the river.

Celeste has incredible vocal chords.

 Way off in the distance is a moose.  He probably only makes up a few pixels.

Hiking back out of the canyon we wished we had an ATV.  Scott is pretending to be asleep and Celeste is thinking, "I can't take another step."  She was asleep 2 minutes after getting into the car.
