What an exciting time for Celeste! She had her B-day party on Friday night. Many of her fan club were there to celebrate. Celeste loves the attention. She got wonderful presents and had a cool Noah's Ark "cake". The cake makers did amazingly well under pressure and should go on the cooking channel's cake challenge.
For Halloween night she got to dress up as a St. Bernard puppy. She was feeling much better. If you noticed that she looked unhappy at her party, she was. She was very sick with a kidney infection. Thursday evening she developed a fever so we took her to a doctor. She got tests and anti biotics for her infection, but was still sick Friday. She had some symptoms during the party that worried me, so the party was cut short and we went to see a doctor. More shots and tests. By Saturday she was doing so much better and playing with her new toys. She was able to do the trunk or treat at the church parking lot and go to the "Boo at the Zoo" halloween party at the zoo. She loved the lights and all the kids. The lions and tigers were growling, and Celeste growled and laughed all the way home from the zoo.
Celeste's vocabulary is increasing. So far we have heard: Hi, Bye, Daddy, Dad, Dadda, Dog, Birds, Mommy (usually it's 'meee' for mommy), Sippy, Up, 'Est (we think it's short for Celeste).
