My Bubbles

Earlier this week I was reading to Celeste and my mind wondered off.  She got bored and started reading to herself.  She surprised me by saying the words from the nursery rhyme she was looking at: "Dickory Dock", clear as a bell.  Amazing.  And just like most of the other things she has said, I can't get her to repeat it. 

It got cold again, so we have to think of fun things to do inside, like blowing bubble, playing dress up, and coloring.

Celeste had fun visiting her cousin Jackson.  They got along great; good sharing, no hitting, following each other around, etc.  Here are links to those pictures/videos:

Sunshine in My Soul

Celeste is our little sunshine.  Today in church Scott got up to sing with the choir.  When she saw him up on the stand she got so excited.  At the end of the song she stood on our pew squealed and clapped.  She gave the choir a standing ovation.  I laughed so hard and so did the people behind us. 

Celeste brings me her shoes when she wants to go outside.  She loves the play- ground and the kids there.  She can go down the slide mostly by herself.  She needs someone at the bottom to catch her and someone at the top to make sure both feet are pointed down, because sometimes she gets sooo excited that she tries coming down before being in position.  She says 'more' and 'banana' (nana) all the time.  She has been sleeping really good all the way through the night.

6 Amazing Years

Scott and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary.  What a wonderful 6 years we've had together!!  Scott is my perfect night in shining armor.  He is such a supportive and loving husband and dad.

To celebrate we ate at an Italian restaurant (they had good bread) and got to see a symphony concert.  Thank you Grammy for babysitting!  We had a blast.  Celeste helped me with the anniversary cake.  She has a chocolate gotee.

Gone Fishin'

We had a fun evening, escaping the city limits.  Scott went fishing, and Celeste and Grammy and I drove out to pick him up.  The river is still low and good for fishing because they are filling up the reservoir.  Nice sunset.  Grammy gave Celeste an awsome new light up toy and entertained her in the car.  She enjoyed being outside.
