Blackfoot River Adventure

We went on a drive to a place we hadn't been before.  We were scoping the area out for camping and fishing.  We saw 3 owls, 2 deer, 1 snake, and a hawk that dropped his dinner when we drove by.  We only saw 2 cars the whole time.  Celeste had fun getting out after being sick with an ear infection earlier this week.  It was nice to get some fresh air.  Celeste has started singing the last part of "I am a Child of God" and 'oh what do you do in the summertime'.

The Rescue

Tonight for family night we drove out to the Hell's Half Acre lava trail. Celeste enjoyed climbing on the rocks. I got my sagebrush fix. I love the smell of it as it reminds me of working at the BLM and also of trips with my family when I was young. Scott picked out some yummy blue berries for our treat. But I forgot to gas up the car. On the way back we ran out of gas, but luckily my mom came to rescue us. Thank you! Thank you! Here are some cell phone pictures from the evening.
